The story of the season so far….

The Vics sit in 3rd going into this evenings game with 2 wins over Shortwood & Newent respectively and a draw against Thornbury to our name. Scoring 6 and conceding 1 in the process but this will provide a different test being away from the fortress that is The Flying Monk for the first time in the Hellenic league this season.

Tytherington having also played 3 so far this season sit in 10th with one win over Cirencester Town Development and two losses against Hereford Lads Club & Clanfield 85 in the league so far this season. Scoring 4 conceding 7.

Tytherington also played Longelvens in the FA vase this season drawing 3-3 but ended up losing the game 4-3 on penalties. Proving they will not be an easy touch this evening.

A bit of history….

Last time we travelled to Hardwicke it ended in a 4-2 defeat for us. Although we made this right by edging the return 2-1.
Tytherington’s record league defeat was at the hands of The Vics back in 2018 when we ran out 13-0 winners over The Rocks at The Monk in what was a very difficult time for The Rocks. They have been improving year on year since that disastrous season where they finished second from bottom on just 3 points after registering just one win.
Prior to the 2019/20 season being curtailed , they sat in 13th with 4 wins and 3 draws.
